I was skeptical about the weight at first, but the double layer makes these pants feel truly bulletproof against morning dew and thorns. The dark tan color is exactly what I wanted and the wax coating should break in nicely after a few wears.

The double layer of waxed canvas shrugged off a morning of wet brush without a single drop getting through. I've had mine for a few weeks and the fit is already breaking in nicely.

I was worried these would feel stiff out of the box, but the waxed cotton broke in nicely after just one hike through wet brush. The double layer on the front is a lifesaver for keeping dry.
