Our original Canvas Outfitter Jacket is a customer favorite for protection against brush, thorns, and flying woodchips. This insulated version provides that same utility in cold weather. The tightly woven canvas is lined with warm flannel and quick-dry polyester insulation in the body. Polyester sleeve linings slide easily over layers, and the corduroy collar delivers warmth when turned up against cold wind. The hand pockets double as flaps for the cargo pockets, a design taken from our vintage field coats. Buttons secure the front closure and adjustable cuffs. Single open-stow chest pocket.

Elizabeth T. ★★★★★

The insulation makes this jacket perfect for sitting in a deer stand on cold mornings, and the canvas shell is tough enough to handle briars without tearing. I've worn it through a few rainy days too, and it stays warm even when damp.

Sophia ★★★★★

The canvas outer layer has already shrugged off a few barbed-wire snags without a tear, and the insulation keeps me warm on frosty mornings without the bulk of a heavy coat. It’s the first jacket I’ve owned that handles both brush and wind chill this well.

Abigail ★★★★★

The insulation in this jacket is just right—warm enough for sub-freezing mornings without making me overheat when I start moving. I love how the tight canvas weave still protects against briars and branches like the original, but now I don't have to layer as much underneath.
