Filson wool bibs have kept outdoorsmen warm in freezing conditions for three decades. The thick 24-oz. wool is made from longest, strongest fleece fibers. The thick yarns are tightly woven into a dense twill fabric that sheds water and wind while remaining highly breathable. Our wool wicks moisture away for evaporation and insulates dry or wet. Mackinaw's tight weave also provides outstanding durability, often being handed down to the next generation. The relaxed fit of our bibs provides unrestricted ease of motion for active use. The sides are gusseted sides with metal buttons for easy on/off. Flapped cargo pockets on the chest and legs keep essentials close at hand. Elastic suspenders. Unhemmed.

Hazel ★★★★★

Wore these out in a snow squall with just a thermal underneath and stayed bone dry, the weave is that tight. The 24-oz wool breathes way better than my old canvas pants, so I didn't overheat hauling gear. Definitely my go-to for any winter work now.

Thomas ★★★★★

The 24-ounce wool is dense enough that I didn't feel the wind at all during a frigid hike. The fleece fibers feel substantial yet comfortable against my skin, and they’ve kept me warm without overheating.

Jason U. ★★★★★

Took these out in a snowstorm and the dense weave blocked the wind completely. The thick wool kept me warm without overheating while I was moving around. Only wish the inseam was an inch longer for my frame.
