Cut like a shirt with the durability of a work jacket, this Jac-shirt is an ideal barrier against flying wood chips, briars, and wind with minimal bulk. The sturdy 12-oz. canvas is tightly woven for excellent tear strength and resistance to punctures. The collar is lined with 100% cotton corduroy for next-to-skin comfort. The front closure and pocket flaps secure with virtually indestructible metal-shank buttons. Side-hem slits for ease of motion. Garment-washed.

The 12-oz. canvas is tough enough that I’ve stopped worrying about snagging it on briars when I’m out clearing brush, and it still moves like a regular shirt. No bulk at all, just solid protection from the wind.

Brian O. ★★★★★

I’ve worn this jac-shirt through a few brush-clearing weekends and the 12-oz. canvas really holds up—no snags at all. The shirt-like cut gives plenty of freedom to swing a hatchet without binding up. Solid piece for the price, just wish the collar sat a bit higher in the wind.

Got sawdust and briar scratches all over it on the first weekend of firewood work, and it doesn't show a single mark. The weave is tight enough that gusts barely push through, yet it moves like a regular shirt when I reach overhead.
