The Summer Packer is made with our signature dry finish Shelter Cloth. The tight weave of this midweight canvas provides strength and durability. A UPF50+ rating and 2-3/4‚Äù-wide brim assure ample sun protection. The cotton sweatband absorbs perspiration and the hat can be rolled for easy packing. Small ventilation grommets for ventilation on each side.

Wore this all day on a hike and the wide brim actually kept the sun off my neck and ears. The Shelter Cloth canvas feels tough enough to toss in a pack without worrying about it. UPF50+ is a nice bonus I didn't realize I needed.
