Finally found a jacket that actually feels like it's built to last. The dry-wax cotton from British Millerain has that perfect weight where it's substantial but not too heavy. Already caught a few compliments on the matte finish.

The fabric has a nice sturdy feel but still moves well when I’m biking. I’ve taken it through a few light showers and the dry-wax treatment held up perfectly without that heavy, sticky wax feel.

The water beads right off this thing even in a steady drizzle, and the British Millerain cotton has that perfect broken-in feel from day one. I wore it on a windy walk and stayed warm without that sweaty stiffness you get from a rain shell.
