Wore this through a wet, muddy weekend splitting firewood and it shed everything I threw at it. The waxed canvas feels substantial but broke in nicely after a couple of days, and the PrimaLoft kept me warm without any bulk.

The waxed canvas on this vest handles light rain without soaking through, and the cut lets me move freely while splitting firewood. I’ve worn it on three chilly mornings so far and the warmth stays put without feeling bulky.

The insulation is perfectly balanced for layering under a shell on chilly mornings. Only wish the hand pockets were a bit deeper for holding my phone securely.
