The wind was cutting through everything I wore yesterday, but this thing stopped it dead while still feeling like I had nothing on. It’s so low-bulk that I forgot it was under my rain jacket, and it kept me warm through a damp, chilly morning.

This vest packs into its own pocket, which is perfect for unpredictable weather. It cut the wind completely during my morning commute, yet compresses small enough to fit in my glovebox.

Took this on a blustery hike and was amazed how much warmth that thin 1.5-oz. fabric traps—no wind cut through at all. Packs down tiny in my daypack, too.
